Christian Women’s Fellowship Inspires MUDISONAMS Students with Life Skills and Career Guidance
At MUDISONAMS, we believe in nurturing the whole person—spiritually, academically, and personally. It is with this commitment that we recently welcomed the Christian Women’s Fellowship (CWF) to our campus for an impactful and educational service with our students.
The fellowship, composed of devoted Christian women from Mukono Diocese, joined us for a day of inspiration, mentorship, and practical guidance. Their visit was designed to equip our students with essential life skills, career insights, and spiritual encouragement to navigate both their academic journey and their future roles as healthcare professionals.
A Day of Mentorship and Empowerment
The event brought together students from various cohorts for an interactive session that blended faith, practical wisdom, and professional development. The CWF members shared from their wealth of experience, offering valuable lessons on:
- Career Development – Guidance on how to build a purposeful and impactful career in nursing and midwifery, including tips on professionalism, continuous learning, and integrity in the workplace.
- Life Skills – Practical advice on financial literacy, time management, effective communication, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
- Spiritual Growth – Encouragement to remain rooted in faith and to see healthcare as a divine calling to serve with compassion, humility, and excellence.
The sessions were interactive, allowing students to ask questions, share their experiences, and engage in meaningful discussions with the fellowship members. The atmosphere was one of warmth, encouragement, and mutual respect.
Impact on Our Students
Our students left the session feeling inspired and better equipped to face the demands of their training and future careers. Many expressed gratitude for the practical advice and the reminder that their work is not just a profession but a calling to serve humanity and glorify God.
This partnership with the Christian Women’s Fellowship aligns perfectly with our mission at MUDISONAMS—to provide quality and proficient training of nurses and midwives in faithfulness to the mission of Christ’s ministry.
Looking Ahead
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Christian Women’s Fellowship for taking the time to invest in the lives of our students. Their commitment to mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals is a testament to the power of community, faith, and shared purpose.
We look forward to continued collaboration with the fellowship and other partners who share our vision of shaping skilled, committed, and morally grounded healthcare workers for Uganda and beyond.
