About This Course
The Diploma in Midwifery Direct is a direct entry program for students who have completed their Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) and wish to pursue a Diploma in Midwifery. The three-year program provides comprehensive training that equips students with a broad range of skills to provide maternal, newborn, and reproductive health services in all levels of the healthcare system. The curriculum covers midwifery, community health, management, leadership, and research, preparing students for a dynamic and impactful career in maternal and child health.

Entry Requirements:

Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or its equivalent.

A Principal Pass in Biology at “A” Level and two subsidiaries in Chemistry, Physics, Food & Nutrition, or Mathematics.

Must satisfy the requirements of the selection panel at an interview.

Must conform to the standards of medical fitness as required by the training authority.
